TLC acquires Dallas engineering firm

TLC Engineering for Architecture, an Orlando-based pioneer in the design field, is still growing. The company is acquiring Piazza Engineering Inc. of Dallas for an undisclosed amount. The Texas company becomes the 10th office and 13th operating unit of TLC Engineering for Architecture, TLC Chief Executive Officer Debra Lupton said. Piazza Engineering, founded in 1995, has mechanical, electrical and plumbing expertise and diverse market experience. Both Piazza and TLC specialize in large public projects such as hospitals, airports, office buildings and schools.
